I was in bulk barn the other day and saw the mini cases so I bought some candy and cinnamon hearts and filled them. I then made some quick takes with my cricut and done!

Valentine's Day card marathon!
Today, I needed to craft.... So I did! After having taken the week to get back into the swing of school and mark to be ready for report cards, I really felt a void when I didn't go into my craft room this week. I had started some of these cards already so by no means did I start and finish all of these today but I had a spark of creativity and was able to finish them!
Lately I've noticed lots of people using chipboard or thicker lettering in their cards. Since I bought them to scrapbook and haven't used them yet (and wanting to use up what I have before I buy new stuff) I decided to use them on my cards! Not bad!
The following couple of cards were from a template that I scrap lifted from Kristie who does cards with a whole pack of 6x6 cardstock! While I love that idea, I did not have 6x6 valentines card stock nor was I going out to buy some so I used whatever 12x12 paper I could find and made some cards. I want to use all of the templates on her blog but focused on the one today. I still have a lot of paper left so hopefully I will get to doing the rest later on this week! What do you think? I love how they work together!
I am just in love with the #hasmyheart sign! Its from a Heidi Swapp stampset and it is fitting for how people are talking nowadays! I also worked a bit with my new Spectrum Noir markers!
The wink of Stella black wand is what I used on the heart. You might not be able to see it, but it is glittery to add a little something something! I need to get my hands on the clear Wink of Stella but it seems to always be sold out!
These ones were inspired by K Werner designs video where she works with nail polish on the card stock and makes cards with them! Since I now use gel nail polish, I have lots of regular nail polish I no longer use. This way I can make pretty things and use up what I don't need!
Since I am a teacher, I like to make little cards for my students. If you are a teacher or boss and need to make a bunch of cards for any occasion, just send me a conversation on Etsy and I can make them for you! These are 3x3 cards with various stamps and embellishments.

Valentines day cards already?!
I know I know... you are barely over Christmas and here I am working on Valentines day! Well I figured while I am off work, I could play around a bit because going back to work means report cards and too much stress! This way I can make some cards and don;t have to spend too much extra time planning out what they will look like when people want to order some!
I bought copic markers for the first time and played with the stamp. I was hesitant at first but I see why people like them!
I used a heidi Swapp stencil with some distressed inks for the hearts! I like how it turned out!
CTMH stamps (You're the bomb) with Champagne and cranberry inks

an attempt at frame making...
So I wont quit my day job to make artistic frames for a living but you can see my attempt at making one from scrapbooking paper.
Notes for the readers... On other websites, it looks quick and easy. Ya its quick, if you want it to look messy. Problem number one that I encountered was that the paper wrinkles.... Not that easy to fix once the modgepodge is on. It dries really quickly btw (first time using it!).
I liked the placement of my heart but felt it needed something. I had had a different idea that I think I should have went with but my mom will think its heart felt! I tried to use glitter glue for the writing but I don't have neat writing when it comes out of a bottle! Its weird as I can pipe quite clearly with icing, just not with glitter glue.
Anyway here it the result, along with my vday card to mommy dearest!

V day card holder?
OK so if you have a better title, please let me know as I am not the best caption writer.
I spent the better half of my day making this cute little 'pochette' for kids to put their valentines day cards in. My kids adore crafts which is great cuz so do I! I am just hoping that in grade 6, students are still young enough to send out valentines day cards!

Soyez a moi = Be mine! (might as well do it in French since my principal could come in at any time!
I used lots of red/pink cardstock and punched some borders in them to make the pouch look cuter. I just added the words with some alphabet stickers that I found laying around somewhere (if you could only imagine how much stuff I have accumulated in the last 10 years...)
This picture helps to show that there is a pouch halfway down the heart to put the cards in. Mine is a little low and won't hold up a whole heck of a lot so beware!
I punched circles from my puncher (1-1.5 inches I think?) and as you can see, some weren't perfect circles but they still worked!
