Quick card for a bar mitzvah

One of the boys that I tutor for invited me to his Bar Mitzvah.  I wasn't sure what the protocol was so I made a card for him with my new Simon Says Stamp Congratulations stamp and some CTMH alphabet stamps and the star in the background from the Hanukah set. I attached it with foam so that it popped out and made sure to distress the blue paper to give it some dimension. I didn't like so much white, so I added the ribbon and some black bling as it was for a boy and I didn't want it to look too girly!

Wow, to think this is already 100 posts! Time flies!

This is a short one.  I made this card for my mom because she won a leadership award at her work and I am proud of her!

I also scrap lifted this from Pinterest (probably in my board "cards I like"). I used close to my heart Congratulations and buttons I had laying around the house along with the ribbon.

I tried other colours but I think I still like the white best!

Yesterday, I wanted to make some different cards so I ransacked my pinterest account and started to make cards like ones which Ive pinned to do one day!

New cards for Etsy

Now that summer has begun and I am very low on cash lately, I have decided to try selling my cards on Etsy.  I am not really sure what the strategy is on selling things there but I will see if it works nonetheless! Below are some cards I have whipped up for various occasions.

Recent scrapbooking and Card making day

This past year has been a whirlwind!  I have bought and moved into a house and have been working on DIY stuff as of late. Nothing I care to share at the moment but it will come I am sure!  I never seem to have enough time to do my crafting yet I seem to not be motivated to do anything either.  A friend of mine has all the imagination and creativity in the world and maybe that is deterring me from doing what I love.  I just feel that nothing I think of will be good enough.
Ok enough of feeling sorry for myself, recently I devoted a day where I should have been doing my report cards, on card making and scrapbook planning.  Here are a couple of my master pieces (lol)!

Back in like 2005/2006, my friends and I went to a place that is a lot like African Lion safari and a zoo put together.
