Sail away with this lovely card!

The idea from this was actually a make it now card from the cricut cartridge Everyday holiday cards I believe.  I changed it slightly as I wanted to stamp on the circle and I had already embossed paper.  I do love how it turned out though!

Birthday card from afar

This card actually looks 200  times better in person.  It is glittery (which I love!) and cute.  The flower I have had lying around for years and was made with shimmery paper. The blue piece was cut out with a postage stamp die from Sixxix.  I recently bought the banner die and stamps from Simon says stamp so I thought I'd use it and then went over the black with some black wink of stella for some shimmer!

Birthday Invites

My mom is having a birthday soon and I am not only on invite duty but cake duty too!!! I am excited but so very busy with so much going on at school.  I just started making some trials for invites to see which I liked the best.  All done with some cricut images and scrap card stock.

Valentine's Day card marathon!

Today, I needed to craft.... So I did!  After having taken the week to get back into the swing of school and mark to be ready for report cards, I really felt a void when I didn't go into my craft room this week.  I had started some of these cards already so by no means did I start and finish all of these today but I had a spark of creativity and was able to finish them!

Lately I've noticed lots of people using chipboard or thicker lettering in their cards.  Since I bought them to scrapbook and haven't used them yet (and wanting to use up what I have before I buy new stuff) I decided to use them on my cards!  Not bad!
The following couple of cards were from a template that I scrap lifted from Kristie who does cards with a whole pack of 6x6 cardstock!  While I love that idea, I did not have 6x6 valentines card stock nor was I going out to buy some so I used whatever 12x12 paper I could find and made some cards.  I want to use all of the templates on her blog but focused on the one today.  I still have a lot of paper left so hopefully I will get to doing the rest later on this week! What do you think? I love how they work together!

I am just in love with the #hasmyheart sign!  Its from a Heidi Swapp stampset and it is fitting for how people are talking nowadays! I also worked a bit with my new Spectrum Noir markers!
The wink of Stella black wand is what I used on the heart. You might not be able to see it, but it is glittery to add a little something something!  I need to get my hands on the clear Wink of Stella but it seems to always be sold out!

These ones were inspired by K Werner designs video where she works with nail polish on the card stock and makes cards with them!  Since I now use gel nail polish, I have lots of regular nail polish I no longer use.  This way I can make pretty things and use up what I don't need!
Since I am a teacher, I like to make little cards for my students.  If you are a teacher or boss and need to make a bunch of cards for any occasion, just send me a conversation on Etsy and I can make them for you! These are 3x3 cards with various stamps and embellishments.
Hope you enjoyed my cards! I enjoyed making them!

Valentines day cards already?!

I know I know... you are barely over Christmas and here I am working on Valentines day!  Well I figured while I am off work, I could play around a bit because going back to work means report cards and too much stress!  This way I can make some cards and don;t have to spend too much extra time planning out what they will look like when people want to order some!

I bought copic markers for the first time and played with the stamp.  I was hesitant at first but I see why people like them!

I used a heidi Swapp stencil with some distressed inks for the hearts!  I like how it turned out!
CTMH stamps (You're the bomb) with Champagne and cranberry inks

same stamp set as above with some red embossing powder from Top Boss!

100th post! Yay!

Wow, to think this is already 100 posts! Time flies!

This is a short one.  I made this card for my mom because she won a leadership award at her work and I am proud of her!
I also scrap lifted this from Pinterest (probably in my board "cards I like"). I used close to my heart Congratulations and buttons I had laying around the house along with the ribbon.

I tried other colours but I think I still like the white best!
What do you think?

Classy note cards

So I purchased these metallic embossing powders in September that were green and purple.  I just can't get enough of them! They are the Recollection brand from Michaels if you wanted to know!

I decided to make some note cards which were blank inside to sell in packs of 5-10.  I just love how they turned out!

My french immersion friends would especially love these ones because we never have lots of French cards out there.  I can't believe I had this stamp set in my stash and I didn't even know it! Not sure where they are from either so sorry everyone!
