Spinners!

I bought this spinner from Close to My heart and it came in a pack of 3!!!! These will be awesome for math centres next year! All I did was glue scrapbooking paper to the circle and then sanded down the edges (it was super easy!).  Then you pop back on the spinner and it works perfectly! I added numbers to mine but you could do fractions or colour sections differently, the sky is the limit!

A must for any teacher looking to add fun centres to their classroom!

Happy scrapping day!!!

This was supposed to be uploaded yesterday for national scrapbooking day but oh well! I had soo much fun working on some templates posted by Scrapbook and Cards Today! Such a beautiful page!!!

My version came from a lot of scraps that I have around the house.  I am in a minimizing phase so I am using things that I can't bare to throw out! Now the lighting is terrible and I apologize!

I cannot site all of the items in this page as they are a bit of everything and stuff laying around.  If there is something specific that you would like to know where it came from or where to get it, please message me and I will try my best to remember!!!

Thanks for taking the time to see my blog!

Cute heart card

I wanted to craft today but since I have been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately, I decided to make some cards.  My inspiration for this heart card is from the Jeanette Lynton's blog.  I recently became a close to my heart consultant and am playing with the Art Philosophy Cartridge.

What I did was cut a card from the cricut at 4 inches.  I cut the two purple hearts at 1 3/4 inches, one with the normal heart image and the other with the layering feature.  I cut the white heart at 2 1/4 inches.  On the bottom purple heart I stamped a portion of ditto big stamp in white ink and then covered it with the layered heart. I sprayed both hearts with a little bit of pink pearl in my ranger spritzer to add a little shimmer.  I attached the two hearts with foam adhesives as I wanted the heart to pop out!  The "thoughts of you" sentiment is a Michael's rubber stamp. All of the card stock used today was from Michael's card stock paper packs.

What do you think?!
